BEAUTIFUL BATH TO GET A SPECTACULAR AQUEYE SKY RIDE

THE CREATORS OF AN INNOVATIVE new concept in sky rides are planning a new visitor attraction for the Roman city of Bath.

It's called the AquEye and consists of a transparent 25-passenger pod that will rise into the air, carried aloft by a pair of remarkably slender masts. The view over Bath (below) from AquEye should be fantastic, especially on a clear day.

A simple logo (below) reflects the elegance of the AquEye design itself.

As planned, AquEye will rise from Pulteney Island, near the famed Georgian Pulteney Bridge (below).

Olympian Amy Williams MBE (below) is an enthusiast for the AquEye project.

The ground-level view of Bath Abbey at night (below) is one you won't get from an AquEye trip, but you will know exactly what it looks like from above.

Maximum height (below) for an AquEye trip will be 65 m (213 ft) above the waters of the River Avon.
